Uduak Udofia, CEO of TBDR Holdings, is an experienced company and non-profit board director, with broad international business background.

Over a 10 year stretch (2004-2014), his responsibilities across BP’s (BP Amoco) Downstream Refining & Marketing Segment grew enormously. In 2004, Uduak was appointed by BP’s Downstream CEO to lead a redesign of the global $120B Fuels Segment, resulting in the creation of regional and integrated Fuels Value Chains. In 2006 he was promoted to an Officer and Senior Vice President of BP Americas $15B Fuels Marketing business. Because of his success, he was appointed Regional Chief Operating Officer in 2008 for the $20B Fuels Value Chain Operations (2500+ employees), with responsibilities for Midstream supply logistic and pipelines assets, depots and marine terminals, gasoline and biofuels blending assets, plus Downstream supply and optimization of crude and refined products / sales channels.   In 2012, he oversaw BP’s US Downstream strategic repositioning with the divestiture of $5B of refining assets as the SVP and Head of Strategic Planning for the $45B US Fuels Division. 

Prior to 2004, Uduak spent 10 years in BP’s Chemical Segment in progressive senior leadership roles.  In 1995 he was the Global GM for the $1B Specialty Chemicals business that delivered 15%/year revenue growth, and in 1999, as Managing Director, he restructured the $5B Packaging Film Product portfolio to reduce 40% cost. In 2003, he was VP and Global Head of Marketing, Sales, Logistics for BP’s $15B Chemical Segment.  Prior to BP, he held progressive managerial roles in International Business Development and Marketing while at General Electric (GE) Plastics.  Uduak started his professional career with DuPont Chemicals as a process engineer, then an operations manager.
